Attention Renters and First Time Buyers! This One's For You!
Personally speaking, as a landlord I love renters; they help pay for my kids education, my retirement, my nest egg and other incidentals I may need in my Golden Years. But as a Realtor, if you want to be a homeowner, I want to help you achieve that goal. Here are my top 4 tips:
1) Know your credit score! This is so important! If you don't know why this is important call me right now: 845-398-1717 and I will explain it!
2) If your credit is poor, don't panic! It can be fixed! Call me and I will refer you to a mortgage consultant that will help you, the sooner you start the better.
3) Start small! Think about a condo, townhouse or starter home. Very few people can start out purchasing their million dollar dream home.
Last but most important:
4) Ask questions! This is a big step! You may be curious andexcited but nervous and scared too. This is normal. In my experience your friends, family and co-workers will have questions as well - they always do! In fact, I will even provide andswers to questions you didn't even know you had!
